Details:

Driving downhill directly through Positano descending the winding one-way street, bypassing many local restaurants, leads to the heart of the town – the busy Piazza dei Mulini which is connected to a narrow downhill path and a few flights of occasional stairs leading down to the waterfront. In Piazza dei Mulini it is necessary to leave the car as all the roads leading to the seafront are pedestrianized. These streets also lead to the cathedral, to the shops selling lemons, shoes and clothes of the “Positano fashion”. While Positano’s ceramic and linen industries (Moda Positano) date back to the 1950s, they boomed when tourists discovered the village in the 1970s. Today, you’ll find many of these shops on this street, along with galleries featuring the work of local artists (a visit to a factory is at your discretion). There is a short uphill walk back to the car and this time, up the mountain, back on the main coast road to begin the journey back to the hotel or ship.

Info:

With the private tour, you will have a personal driver at your disposal, who will make the pick-up directly from your accommodation. You will be free to choose the time that suits you best.
